This is a lovely café which we visited for brunch one morning because it was near our hotel.

The Potato Hash with 3 Poached Eggs I had was tasty and the eggs were cooked to perfection with runny yolks. My wife doesn't eat eggs or mushrooms so the kitchen was kind enough to make her pancakes with maple syrup which she said were good. I'd definitely recommend this café.

I honestly can't recommend this place enough it's a hidden gem in Waterford City! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel so welcome. Ashling and Niamh were genuinely friendly and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was absolutely delicious you could really tell that everything was freshly prepared with care. Ashling's food is excellent, you can tell she has pride in her work.

The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it easy to sit back and enjoy the morning.

We'll definitely be back, and I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

We just enjoyed our best meals at The House of Food. Aisling is amazing, with the food and the place. It's rare to see a place like this where you can relax and enjoy the delicious food and company. We'll definitely be coming back here more often.
